On 28th Feb exactly four years ago RAD was born.  We had been working away behind the scenes on the idea for AGES but on this day we pressed the "go live" button on our website and RAD officially came out of our brains and into real life.  It was a scary and truly life changing moment.  I imagine kinda like childbirth but without the pain.

Even as I write this, I can't quite believe our baby (and yip RAD is our child), is four whole years old.  RAD started as a little seed of an idea which we nourished with mindless chat, copious amounts of lemon muffins and gallons of tea.  At it's core we wanted to create a business that 'we would want to do business with'.  A studio that put children at the very centre of everything it did.  We wanted to make amazing, timeless images, that would be so cool, *we* would actually want ourselves.  And we wanted to build something we would LOVE with our whole hearts and genuinely ENJOY working at.   Fast forward four years, through all the blood, sweat, tears, joy, crazy crafts, epic fails and these are still 100% the living breathing soul of RinkaDink.  And it's all thanks TO YOU!  

• You - our insanely loyal and outrageously sweet customers. You trust us with your tiny humans (something we never take for granted), you come back to us year after year (we love you for this) and you even rave about us to your friends (this means the world to us!).

• You - our AMAZEBALLS RADSNAPPERS! We LOVE how this group of outstanding humans participates in a hashtag gang every single weekend! You guys really are the best, most supportive, wee community! We love seeing what you are up to every weekend and we love how you *genuinely* love on each other! So many new insta friendships and real life ones too! (if you don't know what #radsnaps is you need to check this out right now!)

• And you - the people who follow and comment on our inappropriate jokes, random pictures of cocktails, our blog post shenanigans or even just listen to us rant. You rock! And also you make us feel like we're funny and listened to which is important and helps us feel nice on the inside.

We really wanted to take a second to just say how much we appreciate each and every one of you and all of the support you have given us over the last four years.  It honestly makes us grateful right down to our bones every single day!  

So join us in a virtual 'cheers' (champers, wine, gin, tea, hot chocolate - whatever your jam) to the next year of RAD!  2018 is already shaping up to be our biggest and craziest yet ;)

ALSO... RAD wouldn't be RAD without Will!  He is and always has been our muse.  We aren't the 'Karl Lagerfeld' types who chose a the hot new thang every year to help inspire our vision, no we're the monogamous muse types, we set out our stall very early on and it will not change.  Seriously, expect teenage Will to be testing out our sets, our love googles are firmly on and they are staying put.
